Solarjinx

Solarjinx is my original All Poetry.com username that I used for 18 years while writing on the site. This is where everything started for me. I created this profile and started writing poems and uploading with fervor, up until recently. Two months ago, Artificial Intelligence infiltrated the All Poetry website. It appeared suddenly and without warning, and I watched as poets started fighting and became divided over it. I was a leading voice against AI being used in our creative niche. I am a staunch opponent and want nothing to do with it, even though I know the opposition fight is futile. The creator and owner of All Poetry, Kevin, was the one who ushered it in and I watched mindless minions rally around him as AI started showing up everywhere, even in the comments. So I decided to self immolate my user profile and stop using AP as a homebase, but I didn't realize how attached I had become to AP over so many years. It was huge part of who I am as a human being. Extreme intimacy. It was in my bedroom every night for 18 years. Trying to severe myself from it caused my brain to fracture into multiple poet personalities. I am now writing as four different people. I currently have five books of poetry published under my real name, Mick Tomlinson, and in my sixth book, I will create separate chapters for all of my alter egos and the poems they create. Together, we will each continue writing poetry without any influence from AI.
